What is A Habitual Traffic Offender?
If you are labeled a Habitual Traffic Offender, it may be possible for us to get your license back, and get you back on the road. A Habitual Traffic Offender (HTO) has many definitions according to FL Law. However, in my business, it means anybody who receives three driving with a suspended license tickets within 5 years. If you are considered a Habitual Traffic Offender, your license is revoked for 5 years. As you know, in Florida, having a license is a day-to-day necessity. You’re not eligible for hardship for a year.
If you received a ticket for driving on a suspended license without knowledge and pay it, then that could result in a Habitual Traffic Offender and a 5 year license revocation. We do our best to vacate that result. If you’ve accepted a plea in open court for a criminal charge of driving with a suspended license with knowledge, we can ask the court to vacate that plea. If we successfully vacate your plea, then we will notify DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) to remove the HTO. It is not an easy process, but it is a process we enjoy.
We also help getting a hardship license. We can get you a hardship license that allows you to drive for the necessities of life. Stop waiting. Call us now.
